(WASHINGTON) —In his first public statements on the shooting rampage that left three people dead outside a Kansas City (MO) Jewish community center and assisted living facility last Sunday, U.S. Attorney General Erick Holder told reporters that due to the alleged motive behind the shootings, the three victims were sadly not just dead, but “super dead”.

“This sad, senseless shooting in Missouri Sunday is a tragedy to the community, the nation, and families of the victims,” Holder somberly said Thursday morning.   “It is even a greater loss because of the motive behind the slayings, which of course leaves the vivtims ‘super dead.’  As everyone knows, people who are victims of hate crimes are not just regular victims, but ‘super victims’, and those who are killed in a hate crime aren’t just dead, but ‘super dead’.”

Kansas City and Missouri state police say that longtime White supremacist and anti-Semite, Frazier Glenn Cross, 73, of Aurora, MO, shot and killed William Lewis Corporon and his grandson outside the Greater Jewish Community Center of Overland Park, then gunned down third victim who has yet to be named at the nearby Village Shalom senior living facility moments later.   Cross, also known as “F. Glenn Miller”, shouted “Heil Hitler!” to news crews as they filmed officers arresting him Sunday.

Cross, a former Ku Klux Klan member had built a long reputation for decrying the “Jewish takeover” of the news media and international banking system and has posted endlessly on internet forums calling for the extermination of Jews, according to anti-hate watchdog groups.

Such a clear case of racist hatred driving a person to commit murder, therefore falling under the federal hate crime statute, is a double-whammy, according to Attorney General Holder, as motives behind murders in the U.S. have been proved to leave some victims of hate crimes “more dead” than others.

Continued Holder, Thursday, “If this had been a Muslim-on-Christian or Jewish, or Black-on-White hate murder —which we all know doesn’t exist, but if they did and this was— then the victims in Kansas City would be just ‘soundly dead’.  …Or if Mr. Cross had aimed his racism towards African–Americans and killed three African–Americans, then those victims would be even more dead than those who were murdered in this case; they’d be ‘super-duper dead’.   So in a way the families of the victims in this horrible incident can at least take some comfort in that.   I hope this news helps them.”

Whether the families of the three victims see themselves as lucky their loved ones are only “super

dead”, as Holder proclaims, remains to be known.   But Marie Lewis, a friend and neighbor of the William Corporon’s family says she is outraged at the Holder’s assertion that some victims of murder are “more dead” than others, and that certain victims of hate crimes are placed on a scale of seeming importance (“soundly dead” vs. “super dead”, vs. “super-duper dead”, etc.).   “My opinion has always been mixed about the idea that what causes someone to do something so horrible like kill somebody should be taken into consideration,” said a grieving Lewis, 54, to Duh Progressive Thursday.   “And now that (Eric Holder) says my friend, neighbor is a ‘certain type’, a ‘certain category’ of ‘dead’ is just beyond despicable!   Dead is dead, you butthole!  I don’t care who killed Bill and Reat (Mr. Corporon’s grandson) and why  —they’re still dead!  And this son-of-bitch who did it needs to fry in the chair!”

Given Mrs. Lewis’ and others’ outrage, Eric Holder and the DOJ have their backers as well.  Commenting on his blog Wednesday, University of Rhode Island Assistant Professor Erik Loomis, who so famously defended President Obama’s anti-Fourth of July comments last year, commented that federal hate crime statutes are just the government’s way of correcting historical injustices in how the nation has perceived hate crimes.  Stated Professor Loomis, Wednesday:  “Not that long ago if there was a lynching of an African-American in the South or burning of a synagogue or a murdr (sic) of a member of the LGBT community the white hetero-capitalist establishment in America considered it not that severe of a crime than if a white male killed another white male, or a minority killed a white.  Thankfully we have evolved over the years to now believe the exact opposite —white-on-minority crimes are indeed worse than other cross-racial crimes, and (whites’) murder victims are indeed ‘more deaderer…er’.”

Twenty-five-year-old Matthew Pernise of San Diego agrees with AJ Holder and Loomis.  Pernise was shot to death in 2010 while walking back to his dorm at the University of San Diego from his girlfriend’s house.  His killers were three members of the notorious Latino gang MS-13, out to kill a “Black or

gringo” in an apparent gang-initiation killing.   Luckily for Pernise, the race and motivation of his killers were not severe enough for him to be “soundly dead”, but instead even return from the dead as a zombie, miraculously.

“Yes, being shot to death on the sidewalk sucked major balls,” Pernise told Duh Progressive Thursday.  “But because I was white and my killers Hispanic, I was still able to come back as a zombie.”

Pernise was even able to finish his degree and, thanks to the
Americans with Disabilities Act, was able to get a job as a computer system’s analyst in San Jose.

“I mean, yeah, it sucks having to be a zombie and all,” Pernise added. “...I have to sit at the far end of the office because of my decomposing odor, have to bring small live animals to work for lunch instead of eating my co-workers.  Needless to say pet stores don’t like me very much.  And my eyeballs occasionally fall out on to my keyboard.  But hey, at least I was a white guy killed by the ‘right people’ for the ‘right reasons’, otherwise I wouldn’t even be able to enjoy this (after) life that I have today.  …Guess I’m just a glass-half-full kind of half-dead guy.”
